Sustaining the Rebellion: Maintaining Upstart Culture in the Face of Tradition
It is so difficult to keep our energy up and our optimism in the fore. With so many progressive minded folks attending Educon and participants who work on school wide and system wide scales as well as classroom and individual practice scales, this is an opportunity for us to share the ways in which we stay crispy and hungry. We could kvetch for days and we will not. We will lean into our inner Jedi, our stolid Mandolorian, and bring positive and purpose to the fore in this conversation.
Conversational Practice
We will use restorative circle formats to help guide these conversations as we are all in various degrees of hurt and in need of both healing and humanity. Using a sequence of circles and a flexible design, we hope to mix and remix as many participants in the room as possible.
