First, do no harm
There's a lot of bad professional development out there- and some not awesome professional development consultants. Between sit-and-get lectures and "do as I say, not as I do" workshops, is it any wonder that teachers dread PD days? So how can those of us who have committed our energy, time, and expertise to supporting teachers via quality professional learning break the mold and change the narrative?
Conversational Practice
A series of discussion prompts building from texts and videos, with small group conversation feeding into a Google Doc in order to capture the key ideas.
