Empowering Student Voice in the Humanities Classroom: Creating Space for Meaningful Discourse
In addition to the above, we are looking to build a bank of ideas worth spreading…ways to encourage and sustain student voice and this notion of empowerment. We also will cover how to build students' social consciousness as they feel more in control over their learning, and more confident in themselves as game changers beyond the classroom walls.
Conversational Practice
This session will be comprised of a panel discussion followed by a workshop. Participants will be exchanging & workshopping ideas, and building a resource for the group to access these strategies after Educon is over.
